As Christians, and especially as Catholics, prayer is an essential part of who we are. It allows us to enter into a beautiful conversation with our Lord. Perhaps you have been asking others to lift you up in prayer. Now, our dedicated prayer teams will be available to pray with you and for you.
Our prayer ministers are available to offer personal, private prayer after each Mass on the second weekend of each month and following our Prayer, Praise, and Worship evenings on the third Thursday of each month.
What to Expect:
- Warm Welcome: After Mass, come to the St. Joseph side of the church where you’ll be guided to an available prayer team. The leader of the team, comprised of two or three people, will introduce each member of the team.
- Prayer Request: You’ll be invited to share how the team can pray for you. You may share as much or as little as you’d like.
- Level of Comfort: You’ll be asked if it is alright for the team to lay hands on you. This practice, as Jesus did, is optional and meant to enhance the personal connection during prayer. Your comfort is the top priority.
- Prayer Time: The team lead will begin praying, and you may experience moments of silence as you are immersed in prayer. This is a time for you simply to be trusting the team to lift you up in prayer. You need only to rest and receive.
By offering this ministry on a regular basis, we hope to bring the healing love of Jesus to all who seek it in a safe, comfortable, and caring environment.
